Krizz Kaliko Biography

krizz

Samuel William Christopher Watson, P.K.A. Krizz Kaliko.

Krizz Kaliko began his musical career in the late 1990s when he began working with a local producer by the name of IcyRoc Kraven. Another local rapper by the name of Tech N9ne was also collaborating with IcyRoc at the time, which led to the two rappers meeting. Tech N9ne was currently working on a song titled "Who You Came To See" and Krizz made a comment that the song could have a better hook. Tech offered up the opportunity to prove his case, and Tech was blown away when Kaliko proved just that. Tech would bring Kaliko into his "inner circle" which would eventually result in Kaliko signing to the label co-owned by his new found friend.

Since then, Kaliko has often contributed to albums put out by Tech N9ne, be it being featured as a rapper or simply providing background vocals for the tracks on the album. Although the largest portion of his work is that of his collaborations with Tech, he has also performed similar tasks for fellow labelmates Kutt Calhoun, Skatterman & Snug Brim, and Prozak. Other collaborations include tracks with the Kottonmouth Kings, Potluck, E-40, and Twiztid.

His debut album, Vitiligo released in May 6, 2008, charted on several Billboard charts including peaking at number 19 on the Top Independent Albums in the week of May 28, 2008. In the same week, he peaked at number 167 on the Billboard 200.

His second studio album, Genius, was released on July 14, 2009.

A number of his songs can be heard in the background of the strip club scenes in the movie "Big Fan" starring Patton Oswalt.

Young Noble, the final member of the group to be signed as the last official Outlaw member. He was introduced to Tupac, by Kadafi and Hussein Fatal in L.A., a few months before his death. He appeared in many of 2Pac's last recordings and featured heavily on 2Pac's last album and the now legendary The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. He was always known as Young Noble and was never given an alias from Tupac.

E.D.I. Mean, also known as Big Malcolm, was given the alias E.D.I. Mean after Ugandan president Idi Amin.

The OUTLAWZ first came into the music scene in 1995. Back then, they were known as DRAMACYDAL and they were featured on the single "Outlaw" from the 2Pac's album "Me Against The World." They continued to make a mark as Tupac's protégés having been featured on several of his albums.

Outlawz Biography

When 2Pac signed to Death Row upon his release from prison, he recruited members to form The Outlawz and they debuted on 2Pac's multi-platinum smash All Eyes On Me on the song When We Ride. Other times members of the Outlawz appear on the record, they are still credited as Dramacydal. The idea behind the group was for each member to have a rap name coinciding with the names of various tyrants or enemies of America, past and present. Kastro, E.D.I. Mean, and Young Noble are the original Outlawz still rapping.

Jody Breeze Biography

Jody Breeze (born Jacoby White in 1984 in Griffin, Georgia) is 1/4 of the rap group Boyz N Da Hood. Along with Big Gee, Big Duke, and now Lil Wayne.

Jody entered a rap battle at a car show in Macon, Georgia. With lyrics that overflowed with sidesplitting humor, playeristic realism and gruff gangsterism, Jody slaughtered the competition. Industry veteran Noonie, who works with producer Jazze Pha, was in Macon and was blown away by Jody's microphone skills and lyrical polish.

Noonie approached Jody and the two hit it off. Within hours, Noonie was driving Jody to Atlanta to meet Jazze Pha. That night, Jody attended the album release party for T.I., where he met with Jazze Pha, as well as such rap heavyweights as P.Diddy, Lil Jon, 8 Ball & MJG. "My whole life changed in one day" as Jody recalls. "Within a blink of an eye. It was that fast. I thought I was dreaming, for real. I could have gone home happy then."

Jody moved to Atlanta to begin recording his debut album with Jazze Pha, who, like Noonie, was impressed by Jody's natural talent. "Jody is pure hood lyricism at its finest," Jazze says. "I think he truly just defines the views of a real young street hustler. A lot of rappers rap, but he gets it. He understands what makes rap work." Jazze's words are backed up by Jody Breeze's debut album, A Day In The Life Of Jody Breeze. The album features production from Jazze Pha, Lil Jon & Mannie Fresh as well as guest appearances from Eightball, Trick Daddy, Sean Paul (Youngbloodz), Mannie Fresh, Juvenile, Slim Thug & Pastor Troy.
